Trench coats are among the staples in a chic and fashion- forward woman’s wardrobe. A trench is quite versatile, and it absolutely goes with anything. Whether it’s a casual pair of jeans or sophisticated dress pants, a trench coat is a welcome complement. And for all of the rainbow’s colors, too.
When it comes to versatility, choose a trench coat that’s solid- colored and with minimal details. Black is the color most apt for an all- arounder trench for every season and occasion. A beige trench coat is fashion that blends well with spring. For a touch of variety, go red. If you want to stand out with your feminine silhouette, the perfect choice would be a belted trench coat.
Needing to look 10 pounds trimmer- instantly? Wear a black trench coat. Yep, this is what this sassy apparel can do- make you look sleek.
It wouldn’t hurt if you invest more on trench coats. You’ll be wearing them quite often, anyway. It’d even be more practical if you spend a bit on a good quality trench- you would and could use it for many years. On your next shopping sesh, take more time studying the quality of the garment.
When buying a trench coat, choose the right hemline. The perfect length for any shape is somewhere from right above the knee or shorter. It’d keep your legs from looking stubby. For petite or plus- size women, a trench of this length doesn’t drag their frame down. It’s fashion suicide wearing a coat that shortens your figure. Keep your goal in mind: to create a lean line from your legs and up. Maybe you’re thinking trench coats a la Matrix length. Major fashions don’t. It’s an outmoded look.
Of course, you mustn’t skip the step of picking a piece with the right fit. A slight difference of an inch can offset your figure. You’d definitely look weird if your coat is too tight. A bigger one makes you look..well, bigger, and you’d look puny with a trench coat whose sleeves swamp your arms. If it so happens that the trench you really, really love is in the size different from what you should buy, ask your local tailor for help. You’d need to alter to make the coat fit.
Apply creativity when wearing your trench. Here’s a classic elegant look: a black trench coat, a black pair of skinny jeans and black high heel boots. Or if you feel like setting out of this standard look, swap up the pants with hosiery like lace tights or opaque tights. A more up- to- date ensemble. You’re off to a more modern look with a belted trench coat. Wrap a wide or skinny belt around the waist and you’re good to go.
Classic black is all- around fashion, but if you wish to expand on your collection, try short sleeve or ¾ length sleeve trench coats. For a fun and chic style, pair it up with a scarf. Search for rounded collars, button styles and even prints.
Dress for your body type, too. For those with hourglass, rectangle or apple or inverted triangle body shapes, buying belted trench coats is the best option.
Leather jackets have always made men and women go weak in the knees, as it is stylish and durable as well as classic fashion apparel. It gives you warmth and protection against extreme heat or windy weather, especially bikers. Leather jackets are available in several fits, styles and colors. The choice is yours, when you opt to customize it.
When you are shopping for leather jackets, you will find that the different types are the hip length jacket, the full length jacket, the trench coat style and the 3/4th length jacket, with different variation and accessories to complement different styles, like the motorcycle jackets, the bomber jackets, the aviator or military styles or the Goth-metal look.
To describe in detail, the full length mens leather jackets will have the bottom hem falling somewhere between your hip and the half length of your thigh. The 3/4th length jackets will fall just above the knee while trench coats cover the entire body, the hem being located just above the ankle. When used as protective garb, a properly insulated leather jacket can help you withstand cold wind, sleet or rain.
The most popular one is the bomber jacket, closely followed by the motorcycle jacket. Bomber jackets follow the hip length style and have a square look. Commonly insulated with fur and having two broad pockets on front, the jacket comes with an elastic waist and cuffs, sometimes being double breasted and the fur lining extending from the collar to the front of the jacket.
A leather blazer is actually catching on the trend more than a leather jacket these days. Used by both men and women, a leather blazer is not a professional coat but it can be used for parties and business casual wear. They make a great style statement at clubs and classy bars.
Most leather jackets have common variations in style as there is a zipper or buttons present on the jacket. Sometimes, a leather jacket for men comes with a belt sop that the wearer can cinch the jacket around the waist, especially when riding a bike. Occasionally, leather jackets also come with a hood, which can be removable and insulated.
The classic colors for leather jackets are black and brown but with the changes of styles, red and dark grey leather jackets have also come into vogue. Red leather jackets can be often seen on the ramp. However, for daily use, a black or a brown color suits everyone best.

Seismic Hazard & its Vulnerability Reduction in Guwahati City
Moon Ch Deka
One of the natural phenomenon, the earthquake give rise to seismic hazard to the part of the globe is very specific from the identification of seismic belt located in the earth crust. It is known by everybody that the Northeast India is seismically one of the six most active earthquake prone zones in the world the other five being are the Mexico, Taiwan, California, Japan and Turkey. As concern to the possibility of tremor in the Northeast India, it is always responsible for the surrounding seismic belt located between the Indian and Eurasian Plate which are known as Himalayan colliding zone in the north and Burmese arc’s sliding zone in the east. Besides it, many intra_plate seismic boundaries (away from edge of the main plate margin) are also very active due to behavior of neo-tectonic activities in the Meghalaya, Mikkir Hills, foothills of Assam _ Bhutan region and its adjacent Region. From the USGS earthquake’s catalogue, all total 25 numbers of significant earthquakes occurred in this part during the last hundred and thirty nine years. It has also been found that the seismic frequencies are very irregular with the low gap which ranges approximately from 0 to 28 years. There are no major earthquake has been occurred in this region since the last 20 years. At the same time, diving margin in the Sumatra trench and colliding zone in Sichuan Province have been struck by innumerable numbers of tremors in the recent past. Out of 25 numbers of past earthquakes there were seven great tremors originated in intra-plate margins in Meghalaya and its adjacent region. The some great earthquakes occurred in this part in the year of 1869,1897,1930,1947,1949,1950,1988 which had caused of seismic hazard and flash floods in the past. The intraplate’s originated earthquakes in the Meghalaya Plateau are generally big in size and ground shaking duration is also longer along with medium focus depth of 60 to 80 kms. On the other hand, most of the earthquakes originated in the Arunachal Pradesh are the type of very shallow focus which ranges from 0 to 20 kms. These causes reveal that the whole Northeast part is a highly vulnerable and prone to earthquakes of intensity in Magnitude 8 or more. In general earthquakes at the Himalayan Colliding zones are very shallow focus and recent earthquake of Siuchuan Province of China was originated at a depth of 29 kms with the 7.9 magnitudes for which about 80,000 people had been killed. This epicenter was located around 200 kms away from east of international border of Arunachal Pradesh .The 1950 earthquake occurred in border of Assam –Arunachal Pradesh was also a shallow focused which caused disastrous in upper Assam.
Moreover, the longer the seismic gap has the possibility for occurrence of greater earthquake size which may caused more seismic intensity in terms of risk buffered hazards. There is a seismic gap in the Meghalaya plateau after the 1897 tremor in the Chidrang of Meghalaya where Dhudhnoi fault and many fault had crated in this area. It has known that the impact of earthquakes in the year of 1897,1930,1950,1988 were very significant as concern to the ground acceleration and its velocity. There is no doubt, that Guwahati is not a major concern to the possibility of significant earthquake in this part. The seismic hazard at mega city is controlled by active fault and other lineaments located within a distance of around 40 to 130 kilometers. The recent light size of earthquake having magnitude of 4.2 in the Richter scale had not a significant one but it’s a real concern for the short epicentral distance of around 38 kms from the heart of the city. The city is controlled basically by Shillong plateau, eastern foot hills of Himalayas, some tectonic lineaments and faults in and around the city.
The country’s 12% of area falls in the zone V where NE India is itself 8% of the country’s spatial dimension. The other city falls in the zone –V is Srinagar and Bhuj. The cities such as Delhi, Dehradun, Jamnagar, Patna, Meerut, Amritsar, Jammu, Jalandhar are accrued in the Zone-IV. But theses cities are different from the Guwahati city from the point of surface, subsurface geology, position of subduction zone and occurrence of earthquake types. The earthquake is always posing threat to the Dehradun city where it had occurred in the year of 1905 and 1991. From the views of tectonic earthquake and socio-economic position the Dehradun city is similar to the Guwahati city but some are not. These are population (around 5.5 lakhs), area of city (only 65 sq km), lithological uniform formation i.e large Doon Valley, topographic conditions (moderate slope and flat), safe physical infrastructures and its mass awareness etc. The Guwahati city is on the valley fill deposits having irregular thicknesses overlies the hard rock terrains along with the remnant isolated Precambrian Hills whenever the Dehradun city is on river terraces deposits mostly. The centre of Doon Valley, the Dehradun City has not been fabricated with abrupt high rise apartment. But, it is not necessary that in an earthquake prone area would not be fabricated by mega infrastructures in this millennium era if there are strong management plan and preparedness s to mitigate the earthquake vulnerability.
In India, earthquake disaster management plan has geared up after the seismic hazards at Latur and Bhuj-Ahmadebad. In earlier, India’s disaster management plan was concentrated in the field of rescue operation and distribution of relief and rehabilitation. But, recent trend of thematic disaster management plan has been changed and it has given more importance in the technical evaluation of quantitative pre disasters scenario in details. These assessments of scenario would definitely help to make favorable preparedness and response plan to mitigate the risk seismic hazards in any part .But this preparedness and response plan is different respective to the places or like cities. The awareness and capacity buildings are another two components in the seismic vulnerability reduction and its disaster management.
Under the GOI-UNDP risk management programmed, the seismic hazard microzonation of 38 numbers of cities over half a million population in seismic zone III, IV and V have mapped .The Guwahati city was included in this earthquake vulnerability reduction project and thereafter, seismic hazard microzonation of Guwahati city had also been completed at the 1:25,000 with the help of various relevant Government Organization. It is a tremendous milestone for the Government of Assam to achieve such type of seismic hazard mapping at Guwahati city because of first step and right direction to reach the goal of favorable preparedness and response plan in the probable seismic hazard at Guwahati city. The second milestones for Government of Assam to have a Finalized Guwahati Master Plan 2025 which will help not only to planning of Guwahti city but it will help also to develop a Municipal GIS in the forthcoming years. As a result it will be more positive action in carrying out the preparedness plan for mitigating earthquake disasters in the Guwahati city. The third achievement made by the GOA is to go for adoption of methodology for Rapid Visual Screening of the Buildings in Guwahati city which will help to carry out the type of buildings which may susceptible different grade of damages. The state capacity buildings at all levels are going on through the different project and schemes. The Incident Command Systems, a USAID-INDIA collaborative project running under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India , which is one of the methodology for growing capacity buildings through the training by the Assam Administrative Staff College to grow professionalism and skilled human resources to give excellent response in the strategic time. Preparedness and responses through the practices of mock drills at different institutions is also an important component in the disaster management. It will help to create awareness amongst the peoples as well as to think favorable options to give better response in the probable disaster. These above components are the part of to harness the success of preparedness and response plan under the disaster management system. There is a need to do more work to harness the goal of success in this field of management of seismic vulnerability.
Preparedness and response plan is different subject to the different geographical location of the cities. A preparedness and response plans of Guwahati city is not suited to the plan of Shillong city. Even also response plan of hilly stations between Shillong city and Mussoorie city will not be fitted. Because a preparedness and response plan to the probable seismic hazard is depend upon various factors such as geographical location, geomorphologic pattern, geological setup, probable size and intensity of earthquakes, soil conditions, population distributions, Municipal GIS including road networking system , availability of subsurface information, grade of social & Physical infrastructures, network communication including earthquake warnings, proportionate resources and equipments , efficient management and peoples participation etc. etc.
The probabilistic analysis of seismic hazard in the database management system is a valuable tool in the recent trend of earthquake disaster management. The database format has emerged as a powerful simulation for the efficient disaster management due to its quick reliable decision and its accuracy assessment with the help of proper software including other technological facilities. The latest development in Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS are the only tools that it can help in application to carry out the disaster’s mapping and management with the help of integration of different thematic mappings. Development of a techno-legal regime is one of the components of vulnerability reduction project of GOI_UN; therefore, there is a need to strengthen infrastructure and updated facilities in the relevant Government departments in the field of Geology, Hydro_geology, Environmetal Engineering, Structural Engineering etc. As concern to the preparedness plan for seismic hazard in the Guwahati city , it also need for detail Seismic hazards mapping after considering different thematic options such as present seismic microzonation of city , land used , present population, physical infrastructures, more subsurface data including geo-hydrology etc. etc.. It may also require more strong seismographs network for monitoring and analysis of the seismic behaviors to provide availability of regular earthquake bulletin systems. Rapid Visual Screening of Buildings is also a methodology adopted by the Government of Assam to find out the building types and possibility of grade of damages in any earthquakes. These together will act as a seismic database of the city for effective mitigation in probable seismic hazard. The evaluation of quantitative seismic hazard is possible with the help of these thematic integrations. Once assessment has been made out it will help to find out the plan of calculative seismic disaster preparedness. Disaster preparedness involves many branches of Scientific Departments, Civil Defense, Police & Fires, Administration, Indian Metrological Departments, NGO,s , Medical etc. A disaster preparedness and techno legal component needs many thematic parameters of demographic, geomorphic, social and physical infrastructure including road networking, and infrastructures & facilities.
There is a frequently asked question that in spite of having an earthquake prone area, there are many metro cities built in the Japan then why not in Guwahati? To meet the query, firstly geographically and geologically it is not similar to Northeast Region. It is true that Japan is very experiencing country to face with an earthquake that had occurred frequently due to position of trench zone in the Pacific Oceanic region and received moderate to large magnitude of earthquakes. Secondly, they are the top as concern to the earthquake resistance technology in the world and they have strong seismic observation facilities. It is very strange, that they have all total 5904 numbers of seismographs including high sensitive seismographs, broadband seismographs and strong motion seismograph apart from 1500 of GPS, SLR monitoring the crustal deformations. The seismographs have been placed in surface, subsurface and also under the oceanic water. Recently they have developed the technology related with earthquake warning bulletins within two minutes of source of earthquakes. But it could not be successful in the Kawasakimachi prefecture due to arrival of S waves within 22 seconds. Yet, this bulletin will help in near future for forecasting of earthquakes. Thirdly, Government is very strict in promotion of earthquake resistance design along with standard quality of construction materials apart from availability of skilled lab ours and peoples are also well preparedness to mitigate the earthquake hazards. Fourthly, all the parts of Disaster management (Pre, post and during) plan are very advanced in the world. The 64000 elevators in Tokyo stopped running as soon as earthquake begins and equipments of control operation works automatically.
Forecasting of earthquake in terms of size, location and real time has not been fulfilled till now. But long term probability of earthquake prediction has been given on the basis of crustal deformation, interval occurrence etc. But there is a maximum probability for true prediction of earthquakes keeping view with worldwide advance researches. Till the true prediction we must have a pre-disaster plan in this city as well as to the region. The assessment of damages and destruction of buildings along with estimated danger of life respective to the size, depth, source of probable earthquake in different seismic belt of location will be fruitful measures with the help of integration of different thematic mappings in the field of seismic hazards. The identification of primary and secondary risk zone has come more prioritized to evaluate the assessment of damages in seismic hazard mapping. The vulnerable and risk zones are to be identified in the Guwahati city where there is a maximum possibility of damages at the earthquake disasters. To find out the vulnerable and risk zones it will have to consider different thematic options seismic, geology, socio-economic conditions, physical & social infrastructure, technology etc apart from mainly of seismic microzonation of city. The secondary risk and vulnerable zone is also a major criterion because earthquake proof buildings may collapse in the vulnerable zones due to liquefaction or submergence. This has occurred in the recent earthquakes in the Japan and China. Even the safe Assam Type house may come under high risk zone below the high rise apartment having necked short column in the ground floor situated on earth filling deposits. The secondary risks hazards may be broke out from the sources of fire, landslides, road blocks by probable debris, electrical networking, telephone networking etc. The different themetic action plans may have been prepared in the digital database format to mitigate the probable risk hazards in the city. These preparedness plans are required urgently as concern to the mitigation of the probable seismic hazards in the Guwahati City .
Conclusion: Till the Pre disaster management plan is completed the citizens must have follow the suggestions during and after an earthquake:
§ Locate the safe open spaces near your house where no eclectic line passes.
§ Try to stay in the plain level in the hilly areas and come away from abrupt elevation spot and go away from undercutting of soil and boulders.
§ Don't run, and move as little as possible to avoid falling debris.
§ No need to panic if you are inside a building.
§ Try to come out from the building where it is situated just near the wet land or on the beels.
§ Avoid ground floors as these tend to be crushed first if a building collapses. If you can't escape, go under a table or desk to protect yourself from falling objects.
§ Big earthquakes usually have 3 phases of tremor. The first tremor is almost perceptible to humans, but it can be understood from the abnormal behavior of animals like dog, birds, snakes etc. A few seconds or minutes later it may strike the second tremor, which also humans can feel. Wait till it has stopped, then rush outside if you are near the exit, or go away from tall buildings.
§ Go away from the riverbanks of Brahmaputra, Bharalu and also from wet lands of the city.
§ In general, second or third tremor is usually the most powerful. So, after the first tremor try to come out from the houses and stay for at least half an hour in open spaces.
§ Individual Public Buildings i.e. Schools, colleges, hospitals, markets, Offices should make the strategic plan for their better preparedness.
§ LPG plants at Amingaon, Storage at Bamunimaidam, Uzanbazar etc Noonmati Refinery and others should be made proper plan that fire could not break out at any instant.
§ As soon as you feel tremor immediately switch of the regulator of LPG if it is on.
§ Proportionate Machineries and equipments: Excavators, Bulldozers, Tipper Trucks, Hydraulic Jacks (Platform type), Hydraulic Cranes, Detectors, Pneumatic Cutters etc which are essentials in an earthquake prone city like Guwahati.
§ Before going to purchase a plot, to know the subsurface conditions of the area please consult with a Geologist first and see the Master Plan of Guwahati city and finally take the latest earthquake resistance design from a structural Engineer apart from concrete Government Norms and policy.
§ Before construction of high rise buildings first drill for taping ground water and analyzed your underground formation by a geologist apart from soil testing and others Governments Rule and Regulations.
§ Earthquake does not kill directly except liquefaction and sand craters but physical structure kill the peoples, so always keep in mind for earthquake resistance structures and accurate soil testing.

For a company that didn't even exist two years ago, Malbex Resources has shown remarkable progress in a very short period of time. It has acquired a 100% interest in three very promising gold exploration projects in Argentina, completed a large private placement, gone public, and expects to spend approximately US$6 million for exploration work on the three projects during the 2009/2010 field season, which commenced in October 2009 and is expected to continue until May 2010. Its three properties, Del Carmen, Despoblados, and Arroyo de los Amarillos (Amarillos) total 22,400 hectares in area and are located in mining friendly San Juan province in northwestern Argentina. All three projects are located in the prolific El Indio Gold Belt, along the border with Chile. There is excellent access to the projects via a 4-5 hour drive on paved highway and all-weather gravel road from San Juan City. Two of the projects (Amarillos and Despoblados) are adjacent to 30 million ounces of past production and gold reserves at Barrick's Veladero and Pascua Lama deposits. Amarillos and Del Carmen host hydrothermal alteration zones similar to those associated with the high-sulphidation gold deposits at Veladero and Pascua Lama and the former El Indio mine in Chile, while the geologic setting at Despoblados is remarkably similar to Kinross' FDN deposit in Ecuador. Malbex's President and CEO, Tim Warman took time out from his busy schedule to fill us in on the prospects and plans for his fast moving company.
Resource Intelligence: Can you tell us briefly how Malbex got to where it is today?
Tim Warman: Malbex was initially formed privately by a group of experienced mining and finance professionals – Terry MacGibbon (FNX CEO), Joe Hamilton (former Aurelian director and former CEO of African Copper) Rob Pollock and Frank Davis. The founder group had strong ties to mining executives in Argentina and thus were able to acquire properties which were being put up for bid by the Instituto Provincial de Exploraciones y Exploitaciones Mineral (IPEEM), an arm's length agency of the San Juan provincial government in Argentina. The three properties we acquired 100% interests in, Del Carmen, Despoblados, and Arroyo de los Amarillos, are covered by 5 1/2-year agreements running from September 2008, and are convertible into 30-year renewable exploitation licenses with a 3% royalty to the province and a 2% royalty to IPEEM. Because of Joe Hamilton's connection to Aurelian Resources, that is how the team grew to include four additional members of the former Aurelian team – Patrick Anderson, who joined our Board, Peter Stewart, our VP Exploration, Carson Noel, our country manager and myself.
RI: So then what happened?
TM: We engaged Thomas Weisel, Dundee Securities and GMP to place a $10.6 million equity financing to fund the exploration of the three projects. That was followed by the process of taking the company public which we did through a reverse take-over of a trading company on the TSX-V called Arapaho Capital Corp. which was effective as of October 30, 2009.
RI: Can you tell us more about your properties?
TM: Del Carmen is our flagship project, and is located near the southern end of the prolific El Indio Gold Belt. Del Carmen Norte is a well-exposed, high sulphidation epithermal gold-silver system covering approximately 9 sq. km. We are also currently exploring a similar, but less well exposed high sulphidation epithermal system within the same concession package located about 5 km to the south, at Del Carmen Sur.
In 2008/2009, our preliminary exploration at Del Carmen Norte revealed widespread trace to high-grade gold mineralization on surface within the large alteration zone, principally in siliceous black-matrix, hydrothermal breccias that are commonly controlled within north-east striking structures such as those tested at Cresta del Gallo. The style and mineralogy of alteration at Del Carmen Norte is typical for high-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver systems with hydrothermal alteration zoned around cores of massive and vuggy silica, similar to the producing Veladero gold-silver mine and the large Pascua-Lama deposit currently in development. The best result of previous drilling of the Del Carmen Norte system in the late 1990s was 36 m of 1.06 g/t gold.
In addition to drilling, we have ongoing or planned geological mapping, mechanical trenching, and geophysical surveying (ground magnetics and CSAMT) of the Del Carmen Norte hydrothermal system. Targets to be drill tested during the current field season include: Cresta del Gallo; Brecha Límite, with locally prominent fracture (vein) controlled copper mineralization; Quebrada Pedegrosa with veinlets of jarosite (±quartz-hematite) and high-grade gold (several samples >100 g/t Au); Brecha Opportune; Rojo Grande-Lion King, where gold accompanies ENE-striking hydrothermal breccias that cut massive silica and Ladera Sur de los Tortólas. The Brecha Límite and Ladera Sur de los Tortólas prospects have strongly elevated copper and silver which distinguishes them from the others. Coincident gold, silver, copper and arsenic enrichment suggests the possibility of epithermal enargite-bearing vein mineralization at these targets, similar to high-grade mineralization mined previously at the famous El Indio mine, some 20 km to the northwest in Chile.
We just announced strong drill results on February 17 from the first two holes testing Brecha Límite. Hole DDHC-10-008 contains a 35 metre long interval grading 2.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) and 42.9 g/t silver (Ag). This includes a 16 m long interval grading 4.03 g/t Au and 81.8 g/t Ag (5.39 g/t Au equivalent), which further includes a higher grade interval of 4.0 m at 6.99 g/t Au and 191.25 g/t Ag (10.18 g/t Au equivalent). Hole DDHC-10-007, collared 60 m north-east along strike, was abandoned at 34.8 m due to drilling problems, but ended in mineralisation with grades of 0.78 g/t Au and 11.68 g/t Ag over the final 10.8 m. The mineralisation intercepted in the two holes appears to continue north-eastwards within the Malbex concessions.
At Del Carmen Sur, we have been able to collect a large number of surface samples and should be able to report results on that soon.
RI: How about Despoblados and Amarillos?
TM: Our model for Despoblados is that it contains buried targets in two pull-apart basins in a big regional structure. There's excellent access to the Despoblados project since the all-season road going to the Veladero Mine and Pascua Lama development site crosses the centre of the property and the two pull-apart basins. This is a low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver target similar in geological setting to Kinross' 13.7 million ounce Fruta del Norte deposit in Ecuador. The principal similarities include sequences of poorly sorted epiclastic rocks associated with major regional strike-slip faults which could represent pull-apart basin sequences; and beds of siliceous sinter, evidence for surficial hot springs during the deposition of the epiclastic sequence and suggestive of a buried epithermal target with little other evidence of a hydrothermal system at surface. There are two discrete areas of outcropping pull-apart basin deposits within the Pascua-Lama/Veladero structural corridor at Despoblados; both contain sinter. Exploration by previous operators focused on the large area of visible hydrothermal alteration with outcropping narrow low-sulphidation veins outside the structure and neither of the two basins has been drill tested.
We plan a program of mapping and ground geophysical surveys (magnetometer and CSAMT) to identify zones of enhanced resistivity indicative of silicification and possible epithermal quartz veining beneath the basin cover. We have to do diamond drilling to explore beneath the epiclastic rocks at Despoblados which will be done, if warranted by the results of these studies, during the 2009/2010 field season.
The Arroyo de Los Amarillos project area is located immediately north of Barrick's Pascua Lama concessions and extends northward along the Argentina-Chile border. It is more of a grass roots exploration target and hosts a number of colour anomalies visible on satellite imagery near the Barrick concession boundary. Other operators recognized these to be epithermal alteration zones which became the focus of nearly all previous exploratory work. Probably less than 10% of the concession area has been mapped or explored, due partly to the difficult terrain. We did only limited prospecting in the 2008/2009 field season because of the challenging terrain and poor access.
In addition to the 17+ million ounce Pascua Lama gold deposit to the south, Yamana is exploring immediately to the east of the Los Amarillos concessions, and Barrick continues to control the exploration concessions on the Chilean side of the border to the west.
We began the 2009/2010 field season at Los Amarillos by removing obstructions and improving access roads to allow re-investigation of the zones of hydrothermal alteration identified on surface to date, including geophysical surveying (magnetometer and CSAMT). We are currently doing property-wide stream sediment sampling, prospecting, geological mapping and rock sampling to evaluate the effectively unexplored remainder of the property. Diamond drilling will be conducted in the subsequent field season if warranted by the mapping, sampling and geophysical results.
RI: So why should investors be interested in Malbex at this time?
TM: I think we can reduce it to these basic elements: we have projects with the potential to produce "elephants", located in a pro-mining jurisdiction, and the talent and experience to properly manage and finance them.
Milestones:
* Continue with and advance our existing projects by making at least one discovery
* Investigate additional properties in favourable South American jurisdictions, with the goal of acquiring a more advanced project, with an already identified resource base that has room to grow
* Use our exploration team effectively on properties not affected by winter weather
Tom Leadon and Randall Marsh—two of the original members of Mudcrutch alongside Tom Petty, Mike Campbell and later Benmont Trench—the band’s reunion has been nothing short of a dream. And while the other three members have notched countless sold-out amphitheaters and arenas under their belts, not to mention this past Super Bowl halftime show, as The Heartbreakers, it’s clear Mudcrutch has been revitalizing. We caught up with Campbell, Leadon and Marsh to hear how it was going half way through their first tour in over 30 years.
What was it like hearing the idea of the Mudcrutch reunion not from Tom Petty but from Peter Bogdanovich?
Tom Leadon: Peter had come to Brentwood, TN where I teach music to interview me [for the documentary Runnin’ Down a Dream]. He asked me if I had any Mudcrutch pictures, so I took him into my room and he was saying, “Aww, we’ve seen all these already. You know, Tom mentioned to me the other day that he was thinking of having a Mudcrutch reunion.” I have to say that his words shot through me like a bolt of lightening. … I’ve been practicing everyday for years because I’m a musician but I always had faith that some day I could do something and get my music out there. I told Peter to tell Tom I was up for it. It was about another seven or eight months before I heard from Tom. I’m still just living a dream here. I feel better than if I won the lottery.
Randall Marsh: I was dumbfounded. I just presumed they’d been working on the movie and maybe had a few beers and Peter misconstrued some nostalgic idea. So I didn’t take it that seriously.
Leadon: When he called me, I was driving home from the supermarket and he said, “Hey, this is your old pal Tom Petty,” and I was like, “No… really?” I thought it was one of my friends jerking my chain. He said it again and I said again, “No… really?” I couldn’t hear him very well so I pulled my truck over to the side of the road and we talked for about an hour and it was just great.
I didn’t know that we’d do a whole record, I don’t think any of us did. Tom said he had an equipment warehouse and he’d set up some tape recording equipment and I thought, “Well, maybe we’ll make some demos and maybe something down the line will come out of it.” I was still really excited. I thought we’d get together for two or three days and just have fun, play a little music and then go home. As I got subsequent calls from Tom over the next few months, I found out that he was blocking out two weeks of time, that he had one of the best engineers in the business, and I’m thinking this is starting to sound really good. I was asking him about airline expenses and he said, “Ah, there’ll probably be a record deal somewhere down the line.” And I’m thinking to myself, record deal! And we hadn’t even played a note.
Did you ever expect, after this long—three decades—that this might happen?
Mike Campbell: It was out of the blue. I was pleasantly surprised when he called me and asked me what I thought. I thought, “That’d be really fun to do.” I was also surprised that with The Heartbreakers and all the other activities we’ve got going on—we’d just done the Super Bowl and we were setting up a summer tour—and I was impressed that Tom was so keen to do it, that he wanted to find time to squeeze this in. Obviously Tom didn’t have to do this project; this is something he really wanted to do.
It seems like Mudcrutch offers all of you an opportunity to be free of expectations, both from fans and label executives.
Campbell: It’s so liberating to do a project that has no baggage with it, no expectations. On some level it’s compared to The Heartbreakers but it’s a completely separate band, separate style of music. It’s still the same songwriter and singer but in this band Tom plays bass and that creates a whole different feel and different concept of how the music is going to flow. It’s really exciting to walk out onstage and not play any hits—for me, Ben [Benmont Trench] and Tom, that’s a real revelation. And to still have it go over as well as it has—the audiences are just going nuts—it’s real eye opener for the three of us that we can go out onstage with our original band, play songs they’ve never heard before and have it really work.
What was the first reunion show like in Malibu?
Campbell: It was a different type of pressure than, say, the Super Bowl or some big arena concert because they are right up in front of you and you’re presenting music they’ve never heard before. It was a real nice challenge and it was—and still is—very exciting to get up and play with our old friends. We were pleasantly surprised that people really seemed to respond to the chemistry and honesty of what we were presenting.
Leadon: I had the jitters a little bit. I remember driving over there in the car with Tom and Randall and it was just a magical thing, driving along the water to the gig and having the place sold-out. I just felt like at my age, here I am 55 years old, played guitar for 45 of them and played in a lot bands—and this was the most special band I was ever in, these were the guys I grew up with—so in a sense it was my coming-out party. It just felt like it was time.
Marsh: I kept telling myself, you take away the fame and celebrity, it’s just another gig, just another band. But before we went on, I was about to wet my pants. [laughs] These guys are so good, such pros, I didn’t want to let anybody down.
“Crystal River” seems to be something special, something a bit different than the rest of the tunes.
Campbell: That song was from the first day we got together and Tom had just barely written it. He just showed us the chords. We were getting use to the room and getting used to playing together again, so it did stretch on a bit because we were just discovering our sound. When we play that song live, it is one of the high points of the show. It seems like the audience is in on the joke—that these guys are really enjoying this and it’s fresh. And even though I haven’t heard this song before, there’s something magical going on that they really connect with. Every night it does that have element of “We’re going to go off in this direction and see where it lands.” It’s very exciting because The Heartbreakers don’t do that much.
The song represents all the elements that were Mudcrutch. Mudcrutch had two worlds that were coming together. One world was Tom Leadon and Tom Petty, who were deeply engrossed in country rock like Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds’ country stuff or The Flying Burrito Brothers. Randall and I were really versed in long improvisations, Grateful Deadish-type feel. Those two worlds are well represented in that song. It’s got a bit of country swing and feel in the verses but the instrumental part tends to take a few liberties, stretch out and come back to that. Those two worlds together is basically what the Mudcrutch sound is.
Does this band sound like the original Mudcrutch?
Campbell: The key here is it’s very true to the original Mudcrutch. The Mudcrutch that got signed to Shelter records and put out a few singles was a different Mudcrutch: Tom Leadon had left, Randall Marsh had left and a few other guys had come in and we’d gotten a little away from that original sound. This band is the original lineup and inspiration of what that band was all about. It sounds just like we did back in the day. When we recorded the album, we made a point of recording it live with no headphones, live vocals, live solos. It’s very, very true.
Leadon: What’s different, though, is that 30 some years later, we’ve all been playing, some of us famously, some of us not so famously. We’ve all been progressing with our music and I feel like we’re all much better players, singers and writers than we were then. When we started Mudcrutch, I wasn’t even 18 yet and by the time I was 20, I’d left the band. We had something special, it just never had a chance to fully develop. That’s something that’s so satisfying with his project. To me it feels like a chance to see what might have been.
Did you go back and listen to the original material when you were all together?
Campbell: That’s another thing that’s interesting: Even though we have the same sound and chemistry that we had back in the day, maybe 80 percent of the songs are freshly written.
Has there been any thought to revisit it or are you letting it lie?
Campbell: We like to leave that alone and move on with newer songs. We did a few covers on the record that were older, that we used to do back in the day, like “Six Days on the Road” and “Lover on the Bayou.” There’s one song on the album that we brought back from the old days that we actually never recorded but used to play at our shows that Tom Leadon wrote, “Queen of the Go Go Girls.”
Leadon: Now that we’re much more mature, better players—and Tom was always a good writer but now he’s a great writer—we come in and do the best song we have at the moment and it’s not going to be a song we wrote 35 years ago. Most of the others are brand-new songs and that’s because Tom is writing better now than he did then. He thought about some of the old songs, he thought, “Nah, that’s the sound of guys learning to play and write.”
One of the bands that Mudcrutch gets compared to a lot is Flying Burrito Brothers and Gram Parsons. I’m curious to hear your respective takes on Parsons.
Campbell: I’ve always thought he was a genius, brilliant and very soulful singer and I always loved his records. It was actually Tom Leadon and Tom Petty who turned me on to him. I just loved his whole trip.
Leadon: Tom and I first heard him, like many people, on Sweetheart of the Rodeo and we were really into that and we actually used to cover some of the tunes he did, like “Empty Bottle, Broken Heart.” We were hip to the fact that he and Chris Hillman started The Flying Brothers. Hillman was someone who my older brother Bernie had been in a band with as teenagers in San Diego before The Byrds, called Scottsville Squirrel Barkers. Chris was the main guy that inspired my brother to move to L.A. to try and make it. So we started listening to the first Flying Burrito album and we just loved it. We were doing Flying Burritos covers and nobody in Florida was doing anything like that. They didn’t understand why these longhaired rock musicians would be playing this truck-stop country music. We just loved it. Gram, for me, was the one that inspired me to sing other than just a few harmony parts I used to do. … So really, the reason Tom Petty and I got into country was my brother’s influence. We’d get these records from the West Coast and the public in general didn’t know about it and then [my brother] joined The Flying Burrito Brothers, which was our favorite band. I was just thrilled. He made a couple of records with them.
When I moved to LA in ‘73—I was the first to leave Mudcrutch and I was living with my brother—I met Gram there at some nightclubs with Clarence White and people like that. He was just my hero. Bernie played on his last album, Grievous Angel, and took me to the sessions so I got to hang out with Gram and I got to meet Emmylou [Harris] and they became close friends. It was just such a tragedy when he died. I saw the destructive side of him as well. I hung out with him enough to see that. I felt that he was a genius but a flawed genius. He was a wonderful person. … Ultimately he didn’t take care of himself, he destroyed himself and… it’s not a good thing he did there. We could still have Gram today if he didn’t do that… I just don’t understand why people do things like that to themselves but we’re lucky we had him when we did. His vision of putting together rock, country, gospel and R&B for this cosmic American music that he talked about, it really affected a lot of the music that came after that.
Mike, what is it like playing with Tom on bass after so long and working with the other Tom on guitar? Do you sense that it might make the Heartbreakers’ dynamic fresh in some ways?
Campbell: Tom played bass back in the day with Mudcrutch—when I met him, he was the bass player and he was always great at the bass. All the years with The Heartbreakers, he’s played guitar, which he’s also great on. He writes his songs on the guitar. I know Tom was really keen to play the bass again and I know he practiced it really hard for this project because he wanted to make sure he could carry his end. I think playing the bass and making this record live, I think it was an eye-opener for Tom to sing live and play the bass, it really connected him with how he started out in bands. I think it’s liberated him and made him enjoy music in a way that he hasn’t in many years. I am hopeful that some of that energy and awakening will spillover into stuff we do in the future.
What does the future hold for Mudcrutch?
Campbell: The whole project started as a whim and then it became a record and now it’s become some gigs. Every step along the way it’s been so enjoyable and so positive and received so well, I can’t see any reason for it not to continue. It’s just a matter of finding time to do it. We’re as happy as a musician can be playing these gigs. Something this fun you couldn’t just put it down and not keeping going.

Paul Mcindoe asked:
As it goes, the trench coat first became popular during World War 1 after originally being developed for the British military. And the classic design is not too dissimilar to what is now recognised by many as the traditional trench coat - double breasted with slotted pockets, an adaptable collar and four buttons.
Elements of the original trench coat design that were created for practicality, are now just included for style. Different designers now re-create the trench coat to provide a range of different features around the same style. Indeed, fashionistas can now choose from double breasted or single breasted, cropped or full length, belted and even wax-coated.
So, why has the trench coat developed such a strong appeal, year after year? One obvious reason is the British weather; trench coats can provide a practical but trendy cover-up. Furthermore, they have an all-weather appeal, with designs including a removable liner, which can last you through all seasons.
Furthermore, the key trends in recent times for men's coats include the duffle coat, the pea coat, leather coats and blazers. However, for something a bit more adaptable, a short coat such as the cropped or three quarter length trench coat provides that extra flexibility in style.
The professional choice for businessmen, trench coats are no longer just for wearing over suits; now trench coats can compliment a range of styles and outfits from casual jeans to smart trousers. Indeed, the coat lends itself to the sophisticated and 'structured casual' look.
And it's not just a good raincoat; the trench can provide a certain romantic film-like finesse to your wardrobe. As such, famous style icons and trench coat wearers include Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, to name but a few. In fact, they have also been spotted being worn by politicians and artists alike; and the fashion has also been adopted by sports stars such as Serena Williams, who strolled onto court at Wimbledon 2008 with a pristine white cropped version.
Trench coats remain in fashion but the fabrics and styles adopted continue to update. With a range of fabrics from tartan to classic grey wool and a variety of lengths from cropped, full length and three quarter length, the trench coat has been brought back into this century.
Of course, bringing a classic up to date can be difficult, as it involves embracing the original elements of the design with new features that will appeal to the current trend setters. But trench coats continue to retain their popularity year after year, season after season. So if you have never owned one, it may be time for a new addition to your wardrobe.

Jack T Mendle asked:
Although trench coats for men have been seen as a piece of clothing specifically made for Hollywood's detectives, they did not originate in Hollywood, they actually originated from the United Kingdom.
During World War I they were an optional part of the uniform worn by the high ranks and officers of the British army. They were made with all of the necessary attachments such as shoulder straps and D rings so as to make it easier to carry firearms and map cases. They got their name because they were worn in the trenches.
There were complaints from the officers that their uniforms were being ruined from the trench mud. A company by the name of Aquascutum was commissioned to produce a double breasted coat with a removable lining. Soldiers named the coat "trench coat" and the name stuck to this day.
British soldiers wore trench coats throughout World War II followed closely by the United States, Soviet Union and European countries. The trench coat was soon recommended as a uniform for the women of the British Armed Forces.
London Fog made the first American trench coats for men, and today they are still sold worldwide. Many top designers have their own line of these garments and create new styles on a regular basis.
Over many years the styles have changed regarding the size and shape of the collar. Another change is the length of the skirt, which goes from short to long and back to short again.
Any changes are made according to the dictates of fashion, but there'll always be a place in fashion for trench coats for men.
David G. Petten asked:
If you are looking for men's trench coats, it would be to your benefit to take a little time to comparison shop. Men's trench coats come in a wide variety of styles, sizes, materials and prices. It is a good idea to think of what you are looking for before you begin to shop around.
Men's trench coats are perfect for the man that wants to remain stylish, while not giving way to comfort or functionality. Men's trench coats are great for most elements because they are usually treated with a waterproof substance and they will not weigh the owner down.
Men's trench coats are made by many of the leading coat manufacturers, including: Bill Blass, Joseph Abboud, Kenneth Cole, Armani, Jamin Leather, Wilson's Leather, USA Leather and many more.
There are many great features that are associated with men's trench coats, including: belted closure, inside pockets, outside pockets, hand warmer pockets and satin or polyester linings. Many materials can be used in the making of men's trench coats, including: cotton, leather, nylon, polyester, twill and even lambskin!
Men's trench coats are very versatile. They can be worn by anyone from teenagers to businessmen. They are available in many different sizes, from short to extra tall. Men's trench coats are available in many different price ranges. You can expect the cost of men's trench coats to start at around $50 and can go up in price from there.
Men's trench coats can be double-breasted, full-length and single breasted. There are many color choices between the many men's trench coats, including: black, brown, gray, tan, khaki and many more.
If you are thinking of buying men's trench coats, it is always a good idea to make a list of exactly what you want in the coat. Will the trench coat be for you or is it a gift? Will you need a men's trench coat in a specific color? Do you need to shop within a specific price range for men's trench coats?
If you are thinking of men's trench coats, then you will also want to pay close attention to the care and handling of them. If you have a very busy schedule and cannot afford to take the trench coat to the cleaners regularly, then it is probably best to find one that you can easily clean yourself.
If you take the time to shop around, you can find some merchants that offer men's trench coats at affordable prices. There are places to find men's trench coats at wholesale and discounted prices, so you shouldn't have problems finding something that you can afford.

Rupert Bowling asked:
A mans coat is a very personal thing. The very fact that you are reading this, probably means you are some one who would already consider wearing a trench coat. If so, you are in good company! Read on to find out why.
A mans trench coat is becoming an iconic coat. From Humphrey Bogart to Angelina Jolie in Mr and Mrs Smith, the trench coat has been used in films for many years. The most extreme is perhaps the leather trench coat, in The Matrix.
It is interesting to note the history of the trench coat on Wikipedia, where it is claimed to have been developed from the coats worn in the Great War in Europe, however as a retailer, I am more interested in what is enjoyed and available today.
The modern trench coat is a very different beast. It is no longer solely a coat for men, nor is it now associated with the "darker" side of life. You are more likely to see say a short blue trench coat on a lady, than a black leather trenchcoat on a man.
So who should wear one now a days?
Let me ask that differently. Why would you wear one? Well, for several reasons.
Despite all the improvements in technology, modern walking coats are still not the thing to be seen in town wearing. Nor are they long enough to keep your trousers dry. A trench coat is long, designed to keep you dry, and looks stylish. Lets face it, a good trench coat is appropriate dress for wearing with your hunter wellies, l and striding out across a field, and then slipping into your city shoes, and arriving at work in.
How many coat styles can claim that? There should be one in every coat closet. The only question left, is what colour?

Jenny Wells asked:
The full length leather trench coat has enjoyed a resurgence since it became popular by characters on TV and in the movies. The most famous ones are the coats that were worn by the characters in the Matrix movies. These sleek, long leather coats were a defining characteristic and made each individual look smart, confident, and well put together.
This type of leather coat first came about in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was basically worn because the leather provided great protection from the dust in the West, especially in undeveloped mining towns and cities were the roads were unpaved and the dust tended to fly everywhere when a man rode on his horse. Men wore them for protection and not for style. Later on, when cars were developed in the 1920's, men wore these coats to again protect themselves from the dust. The leather was not heavy and the dust could easily be brushed off of the leather and would not stick on the material. In the 1970's, it came back into vogue in street wear fashion.
Now, men choose these types of coats for a street look. It makes a man look tough and allows him to carry and conceal things under the coat. It is also very sleek and very slimming so it makes most men look put together. Finally, it conveys a sense of mystery and darkness which many women find attractive.
When purchasing this type of full length trench coat, make sure it fits you well. The coat needs should not fall to the ground, but should land a little bit above the ankles. The sleeves should not be too long so make sure they are altered if they are too long. Rolling up the sleeves does not work on a leather trench unlike trenches made of other materials. Also, make sure the shoulders are not too big since it will be tough to move your arms if they are and the coat will not drape right.
In terms of the leather, look for good leather that is soft, smells like leather and not chemicals, and is smooth and flexible. You should be able to touch the leather and feel the suppleness. Poor leather will not drape well and you will not look sleek in a coat made of poor quality leather. Also, make sure the leather is weather treated so that it does not get easily damaged in the rain. It is important when purchasing this type of coat to spend the money on good quality leather that will last.
A full length leather trench coat full length leather coat is a great option for a man looking for a jacket that is smart, has street style, and will last for a long time.

Andrew Regan asked:
Typically, January is freezing, dark, wet and boring; but there is one good thing that cheers up this time of year - January sales! It's the perfect opportunity to grab some farraginous pieces to work next season's look around, and to keep you warm as it always seems a long time before spring comes around.
A new winter coat is a fantastic investment that you'll never regret in this climate, especially if you're lucky enough to find one in the sales. So if you didn't get the one you were after for Christmas, now's the time to treat yourself and there are loads of great options to choose from this season. Lightweight and shower proof, belted trench coats and macs are all over this season in muted tones of cream, grey and tan, and even metallic white which will give your look a snappy, futuristic twist. A good look is to keep the coat plain, but add a checked keffiyeh or patterned scarf - classy fringed silk scarves in paisley and prints are set to make a comeback as Versace used them at the recent Milano Fashion Week, and they're surprisingly warm, as well as the fact girls love them! You'll be able to keep wearing a trench coat well into spring, and then wear it with big aviator sunglasses for that essential '70s detective look - very cool.
The rocker look - black leather jackets teamed with skinny white t-shirts and black jeans - is still going strong and leather biker and bomber jackets continue to rock the catwalks, with the constant trend setter David Beckham out and about in a multi-pocketed pilot number. Another choice for this trend is the plain blazer, which effortlessly bridges the smart-casual divide when worn with a t-shirt and skinny scarf. You can even pin badges onto one lapel, which you may recall was the height of cool when you were about sixteen and still in high school - mod bands like Maximo Park, and TV star Russell Brand are to thank for bringing that one back onto the fashion radar. Wear with pointy Chelsea boots, classic wingtips or brogues.
A For a more casual look next spring, lightweight nylon jackets and hoodies covered with bold, geometric patterns, angular lines and checks will be hot stuff. These are slightly reminiscent of early 90s styles, and on the same note bright, neon orange and yellow details - like piping, zips, or shoe laces - should be massive too. Shiny, futuristic fabrics including silver and gold are starting to funk up jackets, shoes and more; but remember not to go too far with this trend. One silver accent in an otherwise conservative outfit will bring your look bang up to date; a silver jacket with silver shoes, white jeans and a metallic scarf will just make you look a bit like the singer from Babylon Zoo.
Alternatively, if you're feeling indecisive and the dazzling variety of men's winter jackets [http://www.topman.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=17551&storeId=12555&categoryId=85959&parent_category_rn=38994&langId=-1&top=Y] out there is just too much, you can never go wrong with a classic, structured wool overcoat. Double-breasted, army and navy-style pea coats are brilliant, flattering and very warm. Alternatively, there's the timeless, tailored, single-breasted style which should be a staple in every man's wardrobe. Don't think of it as your dad's wool coat, it's channeling James Dean in that unforgettable portrait in Times Square in the rain.
Willie Lieske asked:
Belts used to be seen as a necessity - to hold your pants up. But if you want to be in style right now, you need a belt. Belts worn with a variety of interchangeable and cool belt buckles are hot today. They are one of the biggest must-have fashion accessories this season. New fashions are focusing on a crisp architectural fit, with the spotlight on the waist. Popular styles of the forties are integrated with new designer looks, all accentuated with tons of accessories - with the belt creating the soft architecture by defining the natural womanly curves into new stylish silhouettes. Belts with lots of changeable belt buckles offer a versatile trend and a vital fashion staple in your wardrobe that you can put to good use as a figure enhancing waist belt - and as an addition of instant pizazz to any outfit!
The belted look is not limited to women's fashions. Runways up the style factor for men this season by showing belted shorts, pants, jackets and coats. The soft silhouette is carried through and created by sleek, cinched, and fitted looks, extended to even the simplest of men's ensembles.
According to Kim Martin, fashion editor for Stylelist.com, "The belt is creating this new silhouette. If you don't have a waist, create one with a belt. If you do have one, play it up. As far as the belts themselves...they are different colors...have different buckles. They are very versatile."
Jackets, dresses and skirts all are completed with belted cinched waists. Fall runways spotlight the lean and mean silhouette from mid-calf to floor-grazing, from jumpsuits and safari looks to military jacket, from cropped-look to more volume in skirts...Classic fall layers have been reworked with a waist-defining belt. Belts can also be seen worn somewhat high on the waist...or hung lower on the hips.
Skinny belts may be hot, but not many women can wear them effectively or to their advantage. A belt that's about 1 or 2 inches wide will create a more figure-friendly look.
For a romantic look, pairing a ruffled blouse with a menswear suit, or a soft floral dress grounded with a leather belt, will show off your feminine side. Shop for fitted jackets. Shop for turtleneck sweaters - especially in black, creating a blank palette to show off a wonderful belt buckle! Make a jean ensemble or a sleek dress your very own by adding a belt and bold belt buckle of your choice. Emphasize an hour-glass look.
Joyce Caruso Corrigan, Editor at Large of Marie Claire magazine explained how to get the most out of belts for the style and look you are after. Pairing a cocktail dress with an unexpected everyday leather belt enables you to wear it in the daytime. You could also wear a jean jacket over this.
